Working with choreographer and caregiver, Anna Marie Shogren, I assisted with technical design, pattern making, and sewing.  Anna thrifted garments that were similar to what she saw her older residents wearing. Using familiar materials, we cut them up and turned them into a group of dance costumes that limited range of motion as a way to mimic the way the body ages.  Shogren was an Artist in Residence at the Weisman Art Gallery in Fall, 2019. The photos were taken by Isabel Fajardo in Fall, 2019.
